Saving the environment one meal at a time

About enVeg

Short for environmentally-conscious vegetarianism, enVeg is a University of Florida group that encourages people to reduce their meat, dairy and egg consumption in order to help slow climate change.

Because factory farming causes more global warming than cars, you can make a difference by choosing to eat vegetarian or vegan whenever possible.

As a member of enVeg, you’ll be invited to:

  • learn to cook easy & cheap meat-free meals and desserts
  • come socialize at fun vegan potlucks
  • help us campaign for a more vegetarian and climate-friendly campus
  • receive free eco-eating tips and recipes via email

To get involved, send an email to enVegUF@gmail.com (subject: Subscribe) and we’ll keep you posted about upcoming meetings and events. Also, don’t forget to join us on Facebook.
